Easy to use Packets:
Arilon is available in cartons with individually packaged .33oz packets that are pre-measured for one finished gallon of solutions.Arilon Insecticide is a water-dispersible granule that can be applied in multiple ways both indoors and outdoors. The active ingredient in Arilon is called Indoxacarb. Upon coming in contact with the insect, specific enzymes within the insect turn on the active ingredient causing it to be deadly. This bio-activation process is not as efficient within non-target pests. Once indoxacarb is "turned on" through enzymatic activity within the insect, it starts blocking the sodium channels in the insects nervous system. However, it doesn't kill the insect immediately, it allows the insect to return to its harborage/colony/nests and contaminate other like insects, resulting in the demise of a significant amount of the population. While you might not see ant carcasses around your home, that does not mean the product isn't working. Once the insect has come into contact with the solution, it will return to its harborage/colony/nests and help spread the active ingredient to other insects.
Protective eyewear is recommended, but not required. A respirator is not required unless exposure limits are exceed or irritation is experienced. Pesticide handlers must wear shirt and long pants, waterproof gloves, shoes and socks.
When spraying Arilon you will need at least a 1 gallon sprayer (Quick Tip: Many use a B&G 1 gallon sprayer)
