Applied in practice, traditional fluorescent and LED insect light traps (ILTs) exploit the
House fly’s neurological mechanism of positive phototactic behavior or
phototransduction. Well-demonstrated in research, specifically using electroretinograms,
House flies are most attracted to a wavelength of 365 to 370 nm (color of light called
ultraviolet-A or UVA).
By attending this discovery webinar, you will learn about a novel engineering
development called the Quantum® X LED filament lamp. Additionally, an overview of a
pioneering LED filament ILT system called Mantis® Qualis. Looking for LEDs? Better see these!
